Canada Southern Spur Line.
The grading on this line was completed by the contractors, Gatebell & Elliott, on Wednesday. The length of the line is nearly a mile and a half, and at the south end the work was very heavy, yet by energy and push the work was completed in twenty one working days, and in a manner that gave entire satisfaction to the inspecting engineer. The work was well done and must have added considerable to the character of Messrs. Gatebell & Elliott as contractors. The iron is now laid to the station grounds, near the brick yard, and in all probability the freight warehouse will soon be erected.
