L. E. & N. Completed

Reformer—Work on the L. E. & N. Railway has been finished for this year at least. The roadbed is now in good shape and the station now completed. J. M. R. Fairbairn, assistant chief engineer of the C. P. R., and other officials, were here Sunday and went over the road, and other officials were on a tour of inspection yesterday. The road has been handed over by the contractors to the L. E. & N. R., and the resident engineer, A. D. Blanchard, left this morning for Montreal. No poles or other electric equipment is yet in evidence, and apparently nothing further will be done till spring.
