The book Pioneering on the C.P.R. by Florence Howey, is a memoir, first published posthumously in 1938, about Mrs. Howey's experiences as a wife of a doctor during the construction of the Canadian Pacific Railway in Northern Ontario as well as in Sudbury during that town's early days.
