[Incline Railway, Montreal Postcard]

Incline Railway, Montreal. Divided back postcard published by The Valentine & Sons' Publishing Co., Ltd. Postmarked July 2, 1923, but the postcard almost certainly dates from several years prior (the card resembles those published around a decade prior, and the Mountain Park Railway in Montreal ceased operations in 1918). This is one of Valentine & Sons' earlier Canadian images; it is number 100,091, which suggests it was taken somewhere around the beginning of the 20th century.
