First United States Navy vessel on St. Lawrence River, Canadian waters in 100 years, passing under main span Thousand Island International Bridge. White border postcard published by Valentine Black Co. and numbered 115787 in their series. The stamp box contains "39-1", possibly suggesting that the card was printed in 1939, but the photograph dates from a while before.
